A warm Gippsland welcome is extended to all visitors to our site. We hope you enjoy your stay.

Warragul is a small, but growing, rural community located in West Gippsland approximately 100km to the South East of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. This area has, arguably, some of the most productive dairy farming country in Victoria, if not all of Australia. We also have a large brown coal deposit approximately 40km to the east which fuels the State's Electricity Generators in the Latrobe Valley.

Warragul Lions Club was chartered in 1966 with an initial membership of 35 dedicated and active men. 4 of these charter members are still active today. Our current membership is approximately 65 members.

Having a fairly large membership base has enabled our Club to be very active in the community. In fact we have been able to donate approximately $50,000 to $60,000 to various charities throughout the community each year. We are also ably assisted by a small, but very active, Lioness Club.

In spite of our size we are always on the look out for new members. If you would like to know more about the world's largest and most effective community service organisation give us a call.

Great news! Our Club has just been selected to host the District 201V3 Convention in 2010.

- The following are our main activities:
- Annual Lions Golf Day in aid of Legacy
- Catering
- Fire wood
- Ride for Sight
- Lions Christmas Cake Sales
- Lions Mints
- Lions Cord Blood
- Lions Village - Licola
CATERING One of our largest income generators. We cook literally thousands of hamburgers, steaks and sausages at events such as Farm World, Trucks in Action and various sausage sizzles in the community. The activity generates a profit of over $15,000 each year.
FIRE WOOD We collect fallen trees at various places in the area and cut and split it for sale or distribution to the needy. We make around $5,000 profit each year.
